Adam Parrott-Sheffer is an Ed.L.D candidate at the Harvard Graduate School of Education. Parrot-Sheffer has held many positions in education, including a former general, elective, and special education teacher in grades K-8, track & basketball coach, special education coordinator, assistant principal, principal, and parent who moonlighted as the custodian, bus monitor, clerk, and lunch attendant when duty required. Parrott-Sheffer has worked on teams transforming educational outcomes in both urban and suburban settings, in traditional, charter, and parochial schools, and in large (1000 student) and small (115 students) buildings. He brought all these experiences to his work as the district administrator for Early Childhood and English Language Learners. Parrott-Sheffer most enjoys opportunities to design programs and build teams in startup environments.
